The Signs of Angels For Unbelievers Who Die In Unbelieving Circumstances

The Signs of Angels For Unbelievers Who Die In Unbelieving CircumstancesAmong the people who get the curse from the Angels are the infidels who die and remain in the infidel state. The argument for this statement is the word of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala:

"Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - upon them will be the curse of Allah and of the angels and the people, all together, Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved." [Al-Baqarah/2: 161-162].

Al-Hafizh Ibn Katsir in Tafsiir said, "Allah Subahanahu wa Ta'ala preached about the condition of the unbelievers who continued their disbelief to death, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala said, ‘They received the curse of Allah, the Angels and all humans. They are eternal in the curse.' The meaning is that the curse continues to them until the Day of Judgment, and is added with the torment of Hell which 'Will not be lightened by their punishment,' the meaning is that torture will not be reduced at all and 'No (also) they were given respite.' One moment the torment will not be changed over them, even the torment will continue forever, only to Allah we all take refuge." {1}

Exactly if we discuss some of the problems below:

1. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala provides conditions for the stipulation of the law for the unbelievers to die in infidels.

Al-Hafizh Ibnul Jauzi explained the wisdom by saying, "Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala requires death of kufr, because the law remains with death in a state of kufr." {2}

Shaykh Rasyid Ridha Rahimahullah said, "It has been explained in the last verse that unbelievers get anathema because they hide the truth, and are excluded from them are those who repent, then in this verse and who afterwards affirm those who are cursed, and show eternal damnation which results in eternity in Hell, that condition is to die in a state of infidelity, they are those who are designated as cursed, and forever in such circumstances so that they are not beneficial to syafa'at and wasilah." {3}

2. Some of the scholars argue that the curse applies on the Day of Judgment.

As quoted by Imam al-Baghawi from Imam Abul 'Aliyah, he said, "This happened on the Day of Judgment, the infidels were arrested, then Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala cursed it, as did the Angels and all humans." {4} Wallaahu a 'laam.

3. Interpreters express two opinions in pronouns that are on the word of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala: خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا .

In this problem al-Hafizh Ibn al-Jauzi said: "The Word of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala: خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا, about the problem of the letter‘ ها 'which is at the end of the sentence there are two opinions; the first returned to the curse, this is the opinion of Ibn Mas'ud Radhiyallahu anhu and Muqatil. Second, returning to Hell, even though it was not mentioned before, but this is something that is understandable." {5}

4. Maybe someone asks what is the wisdom of the curse of the Angels and all humans to them, even though the curse of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala is enough as a torment and insult to them.

Shaykh Muhammad Rashid Rida answered this question with his comment, "The wisdom of revealing the curses of angels and all humans, even though the curse of Allah is enough to humiliate and torture them is that all who know of the creatures above and below see them as human beings deserving of the curse of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and his hatred, they are not expected to have more affection and can no longer be expected that there will be people who give syafa'at to them, because the calamity has befallen them from those who know and understand people who have been hindered from the love of Allah who is merciful and merciful because of their bad deeds, in fact he will not be able to expect anything other than Him." {6}

O Allah, don't make us enter into their group, aamiin ya Hayyu ya Qayyum.
