Prayers of Angels to Stingy People

Prayers of Angels to Stingy PeopleAmong the people who are prayed for by ugliness by the Angels are people who are stingy to give alms in the way of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, the arguments that show this have passed, including:

Imam al-Bukhari and Imam Muslim have narrated from Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu anhu, he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu‘ alaihi wa salam said:

‘Not one day where a servant is at him unless two Angels descend upon him. One of them said, ‘O Allah, give change {1} to those who give charity.' While others say, 'Allah O Allah, destroy {2} the property of the stingy person.'" {3}

Al-Malla ‘Ali al-Qari said in this hadith," What is meant by 'stingy' here is stingy to give good or wealth to others." {4}

Al-Hafizh Ibn Hajar rahimahullah said, "The prayer which is destroyed means that the property itself is destroyed or the owner of the property, the meaning is the loss of goodness because it is busy with others." {5}

The Imams, namely Imam Ahmad, Ibn Hibban, and al-Hakim narrated from Abud Darda 'Radhiyallahu anhu, he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu‘ alaihi wa salam said:

"There is no sunrise unless it is sent on two sides, two angels who cry out. All the inhabitants of the earth listened to him except jinn and humans, they both said, 'O people face you to your Rabb, because those few and enough are certainly better than many but are used for spree, and not sunset unless sent between two the side of the two Angels who exclaimed, all the inhabitants of the earth listened to him except jinn and humans, they both said: 'O Allah, give change to the person who giving chairty and destroy the wealth of the stingy.'" {6}

Two Imams, namely Ahmad and Ibn Hibban narrated from Abi Hurairah Radhiyallahu anhu, from the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa salam, he said:

"Surely an angel who is at the door of the gates of the sky, says: 'Whoever lends today, will be repaid on the day.' And another Angel who is at the other door says, 'Allah O Allah, give change to the person who give charity and speeds up the destruction of the property of the stingy person.'" {7}

Hopefully with the glory of God to all of us, we enter into the group of people who have the blessings prayed for by the Angels, and are not included in the group of stingy people who are prayed for by the Angels. Aamiin ya Dzal Jalaali wal Ikraam.
